She has previously practiced as a Dermatology Consultant at St. George’s Hospital, London when she was appointed in 2011 and moved to Devon with her family in 2014 to take up her current post.
Dr Goldstraw treats the full spectrum of skin disorders in children and adults including acne, rosacea, difficult eczema, skin allergies, psoriasis, hair problems, vulval dermatology, infections, birthmarks, mole checks, botox injections for hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating), sun damaged skin and skin cancer.
Dr Goldstraw approach to her patients is one of empathy and listening, she is kind, approachable and has excellent communication skills. With her expertise and knowledge, she combines evidence-based medicine with personalised skin treatments. She also believes patients should be fully informed and actively involved in all their treatment decisions.
Actively involved in the training of local GPs she runs Exeter Skin Club, teaching sessions for GPs and junior doctors in dermatology.
Dr Goldstraw is recognised by all major private health insurers.
She is a member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, British Association of Dermatologists and British Society of Paediatric and Adolescent Dermatology.
In her free time Naomi enjoys playing softball cricket and tennis.
